Positives and Negatives of Wireless Chargers

The wireless chargers are aimed at providing power to devices like smart phones or tablets using the electromagnetic field technology. There are a lot of variations in the wireless charging units. Wireless chargers are aimed at providing high speed charging a device or sometimes more than 1 device at a time. They are usually fast and reliable charging units. We will discuss the cons and pros of these modern wireless charges:

Positive aspects of Wireless chargers:

1. One of the major benefits of the wireless charging unit is that you don’t need the cords or the cables associated with the charging unit. So you find it easy to carry and also to charge your device. You also get the option to charge many devices at a time and thus it provides the multitasking in an easy manner. You don’t require separate chargers for different devices. You can easily charger all your devices with the single wireless charging unit.

2. You don’t need to worry about the damage of the cable or the adapter. So it helps you a lot if you have a travelling kind of job. Usually the cord of the charger gets damaged and thus you have to buy a new charger, but the wireless charger gives you freedom from this problem.

3. Wireless charger helps you to be free and charge any of your devices from the single charging unit. So you don’t need separate chargers for separate devices. You can charge all your devices from a single charging unit.

So far we have discussed the positive aspects of the wireless chargers. But along with these positive factors the wireless chargers do have some negative aspects as well.

Negative aspects of Wireless chargers:

1. One of the major issues with wireless chargers is that it has low charging efficiency as compared to the conventional cord chargers. So the output efficiency is low for the wireless units and it takes more time to charge a particular device with the wireless chargers. Although the technology is new and evolving, so in the coming future we may see a lot of advancements in the future.

2. Other negative factor includes the price of these charging units. The wireless chargers have higher price than the normal chargers. It is also a governing factor. But here also the argument is same that the technology is relatively new so as the technology evolves more we may find alternates for the price as well.

So far we have discussed the cons and pros of the wireless technology.  The conclusion to this argument is that although the wireless technology is relatively new and is quoted high in terms of money spend but the future is definitely in the wireless. So it may well get adapted and we may find highly efficient and low price wireless chargers in the coming future.
